Island of Gozo
Gozo is the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago and is approximately 14km by 7km in area. The pace of life on Gozo moves at a more tranquil pace. One can visibly notice the that the island greener and more rural than that of Malta!!
The sea is only ten minutes away from anywhere on the island. Its clear and clean sea makes Gozo a marquee spot for a diving destination. The weather makes the island an ideal location for holidays all year round. Temperatures can be as high as 35 degrees Celsius during the summer period, also enjoying warm temperatures in winter, with temperatures at around 17 degrees Celsius.
Bus service on the island is very user friendly. Easily identified by their distinctive green and white colour, the bus fleet is not only comfortable, and environmentally friendly, but also ensures that passengers benefit from the highest levels of safety throughout their journey. All buses are low floor and easily accessible using wheelchairs.
Service operates daily between 05.30hrs and 23.00hrs while a night service also runs on Friday and Saturday nights as well as on public holidays and feast days.

Things To Do
Diving

A bonus of Malta’s compact size means that you can visit a selection of great locations with minimal travelling time meaning you can even visit several places in the same day. One of these places would be diving in Gozo. Gozo offers perhaps some of the most diverse and plentiful diving opportunities in the whole country.
Swimming

The beaches of Gozo are surrounded by some of the cleanest waters in the Mediterranean. Make sure to always ask a local if the area is safe for swimming as nobody knows the island more than a Gozitan himself.
Country Walks

Gozo’s countryside is great for exploring almost all year round. The best months for country walking would be April, May, and early June, and later on in the year in October and November.
Kayaking

Gozo’s coastline has a few glorious sandy beaches but for sports enthusiasts, the steep rocky cliffs, bays of boulders and caves are perfect playgrounds and ideal for exploring by sea kayak.
Agritourism

The Island of Gozo can boast of a largely authentic natural, richly structured cultural landscape. Spend a day at a farm and interact with the animals, pick fruit and learn about traditional food making process.
Jeep Tours

The Gozo jeep safari is probably the best way to see the island of Gozo, where you can visit all the places of interest that the island has to offer and drive through beautiful countryside and valleys, taking different routes from your normal excursions.
Cycling Trips

Gozo has a lot to offer to the cyclist, from rough walled alleyways and off-road tracks to long smooth roads that take you through beautiful country side where one can witness amazing sunrise or sunset.
